Look, it's not what you think...

I am getting really irritated by all the complaints about the government today. The problem is that people are not seeing the big picture.

For example, people are saying the gov. needs to cut spending instead of raising taxes! What people are not seeing is how this relates directly to the goal of destroying capitalism.

If you click on the title of this post, it takes you directly to chapter 2 of the Communist Manifesto. If you scroll down toward the end, you will see the 10 actions/policies which must be implemented to ruin capitalism. Preceding that, there are arguments for the policies which they will put into place... arguments against free buying and selling; against families; against private ownership of property.

A heavy tax is one of the most important things for them to put into place. They need to remove as much money as possible from the hands of private citizens and businesses and put that money in the coffers of the government. They will continue to raise taxes at all levels of government and they will invent new ways to tax you.

They will invent crisis (like global warming) as a way to take your money and your freedom. They are going to use the global warming scam to tax and regulate businesses right out of business.

Unemployment is good for their plan. The plan which will give the new communist government complete control over every aspect of your life.

And if you think electing Republicans will fix the problem, look back at G.W. Bush. He signed off on higher taxes. The only way to save this country is with a constitution-based party. The libertarians are the closest thing to that, though they are a bit too radical for some. (Abortion is the most troubling "freedom" they advocate, although they don't promote it, they merely don't forbid it.)

There are evil people pulling the strings of power-hungry politicians. Most of the Democrats in the House and Senate probably don't even have a clue of what is going on behind the scenes. They are in it for the money. They are all making huge money from all the new regulations they are passing.

For instance, a couple of them have a lot of stock in the 2 drug companies which make quit-smoking products, so they raise tobacco taxes on one product [bagged loose tobacco used in roll-your-own cigs] from $1 to $24. That's more than a 2000% increase! But that is done to get people to buy the quit-smoking products so their stock will go up. (side note: Obama appointed as Health and Human Services secretary the former chief lobbyist for those companies...He has been pushing for even higher tobacco taxes, he says 'to prevent children from smoking... coincidence? I'd love to see HIS portfolio)

You think the media is going to blow the whistle? Nope. Did they say anything when Pelosi pushed for increased minimum wages for foreigners producing goods for America, but put in ONE exemption to not increase wages at her husband's foreign tuna-packing plant?

Most of the greedy politicians are in it for the money, but I think they are going to be shocked when the country crumbles under communism and they are no longer needed because there will be no more elected officials, and their wealth will be seized.

Muslim Proposes Muslim for CIA Director

If people cannot see that Obama is doing everything in his power to promote Islam, then there truly is no hope for this nation. Although the CIA has been getting a bad rap from the media over the years, it is generally staffed with some very patriotic people who do not want to see the Muslim take-over of our nation which is being engineered by our muslim president, Barack Hussein Obama.
 Obama has been outed one too many times by leaks coming from the CIA. He is now set to clean up that organization and make them submit to his unlawful regime.
 But he knows how to play the game: If his Muslim friend is rejected, then his next choice will not seem as radical as it would have, had it been his FIRST choice. 
Look out people!! We are going to get a very bad person as head of the CIA, no matter what.
And look out, CIA!! You will no longer know whom to trust. Leaks will be "plugged" literally and figuratively.

The Democrat Plan for 2012

Yes, indeed, we won BIG on November 2nd.

There were victories all over the country. But here, in the People's Republic of Massachusetts most conservative candidates were defeated. This really surprised me because nearly everyone I talked to was going to "throw the liberals out".
I have some friends who are life-long liberal Democrats but this time voted for conservatives.

But something happened at the polls all over Mass which had never happened before... something very fishy...

On November 2nd I listened to local talk radio in the morning and callers began reporting about "poll watchers" at every precinct.

In our state you first go to the check-in person and give your street name and number, and then your name and they put a check-mark next to your name and give you a ballot. After you vote you go to the check-out table and give your street, number and name and they check you off. Then you feed your ballot into the machine.

The "poll watchers" were seated behind the check-in tables and were each equipped with a printed list of all registered voters, listed by street. That is the voter list used by the check-in/check-out people.

All of the so-called poll watchers used their copies of the lists of voters and they checked off the names of the voters as the voter checked in.
You may not think this is anything unusual, but it has never happened in the nearly 40 years I have been voting.

Also, I had been a poll-watcher a long time ago during an election in Boston. My instructions were to just observe. That is how it is usually done.

Who authorized giving lists of all registered voters to these people? And when did these extra lists get printed? Did they have more copies in case Republican poll watchers showed up? What if the Independents and the Greens all wanted to have chairs placed behind each check-in table? Are five different parties going to be accommodated with lists and chairs?

Okay, so I continued to listen to talk radio throughout the day and when the Boston-based program came on, more callers were reporting about the mysterious new poll-watching technique. If the host had not blown this off, perhaps someone would have taken a closer look.

The polls close at 8pm here. I waited until 7:10 to go vote. There is only one voting place in my town for all 4 precincts and it is a wide open area where you can see everyone in the room from any spot in the room. There were only 2 other voters there while I voted and I did not see the poll-watchers.

I stopped to greet a friend who was a check-in person from another precinct. I asked her if there had been poll-watchers there with voter lists. She said yes, but they all left at exactly 7:00pm. I asked if she knew if they were Dems or Republicans and she said they were all Dems. She said not one Republican poll watcher had been there.
And, frankly there are never any poll watchers in our town, of either party.

Now comes the REALLY FISHY part:

The next day I ran into a guy who lives in my town and he said he was so glad to see such a high voter turn-out. He said he went to vote at 7:45 and the place was packed!!

Okay so at 7:10-7:15 there was a trickle of voters and all of a sudden herds of people rush down to the polls to vote at the last minute. Yeah, sure.

Strange thing was that when I got to the polling place, the parking lot was very full so I was totally surprised at how empty the voting room was. Where were all the people who had driven the cars there? Is it possible that those people were in another part of the building, busy memorizing the name and address of a voter who was NOT checked off on the lists? Is it possible that they know that very few people vote between 7 and 8 pm?
There is no identification required to vote in this state. So all you need is the name and address of a registered voter who is not already checked off the list.

I hate to sound paranoid, but it appears there was a very organized effort at voter fraud which paid off. I mean this strange new poll-watching method was happening all over the state!!

Why would a poll watcher need a list of voters. They claimed they were going to use the unchecked names to call people, but there are no phone numbers listed. And why did they all leave at 7:00? Why not call people at 5:00 or 6:00?
If they were really just poll watchers, they would stay until the police escort the ballot boxes out of the room when the voting ends.

I made no formal complaint about any of this because the Secretary of State, who is the person who would investigate voter fraud, is a Dem who has held the office for 40 years.
The other person to which one might complain is the attorney general. That would be Martha Coakley. The woman defeated by Scott Brown. The woman who said "Technically it is not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts." That is an exact quote!
I saw no point in lodging a complaint.

I think it would be far more fruitful to alert the rest of the country to organize to prevent this from going national. All it would take is one person in each precinct.

Bottom line is IF THE REPUBLICANS DON'T STOP THIS OBVIOUS FRAUD AND IF THEY DON'T ORGANIZE EVERY SINGLE PRECINCT IN THE COUNTRY WE ARE GOING TO BE HURTING IN 2012.

Do you realize that the evil-doers like to fly their trial balloons in Massachusetts?

Massachusetts elected a black man from Chicago to our highest office (Governor Duval Patrick) before the evil-doers offered up that other Black man from Chicago as candidate for president (Barack Obama). And "coincidentally" they are good friends who went to college together.
Mass passed the local universal health care, a smaller scale version of the national health care bill.
Mass tried to put a provisional martial law bill in place, but the citizens made too much noise. Had it passed here, it would have gone national.

This voter fraud thing went off perfectly, so it will go national. I guarantee it!
Yes, on November 2nd we won a victory nationally, but the war has just begun. We have just 2 short years to preempt this. Conservatives need to make an organized effort to man the polls with at least one person per precinct to be a poll watcher. This needs to happen all over the country.
And it wouldn't hurt to push for new laws requiring ID to vote.

Is this the Future of Health Care?

I live in Massachusetts where the pilot program for national health care was passed with little objection. I am enrolled in the state plan which is open to everyone who wants to participate.

About six months after initial enrollment, I was sent papers requesting updated financial information. I filled them out and mailed them in.

A few days later I got a phone call asking if I had mailed the papers. I said I had. Two or three days later I got another phone call asking if I had mailed the papers. I said I had. Three weeks later I got a notice that I was being canceled from the program for not returning the paperwork.

Then in July of last year I went to the local hospital and got fresh paperwork to mail to the state. I filled out the papers and mailed them with postal tracking so that there would be no way for them to deny receipt. In August I got a notice saying that it appeared the applicant (me) is qualified to participate in the state program. The notice said that I would be getting more paperwork within 2 weeks. I waited f or the promised paperwork to arrive....

That was August of 2009 and Lo and Behold!! Today in the mail I got my new medical card!!
It only took seven months!! Now that is what I call efficient! During those 7 months I did not call or write to them. I had saved the August notice in case they tried to hit me with the $1000 fine for not having insurance. But now I am all legal again.

The health care system in Massachusetts is a mess and I promise you that the national version will be no better.

I only used the insurance once during my initial enrollment and this is what happened:

I called the assigned doctor to get an appointment for a problem I was having with my ears. They said I could be seen in two weeks. I said but I need to see the doctor now. They said "Go to the emergency room."

I thought part of the selling point of this government run health care was to reduce emergency room visits which burden the system... Hmmmm

So I went to the ER and was treated very well. They referred me to an ear, nose, and throat guy. He ordered a few thousand dollars worth of tests for which I had to go to three more appointments at three different locations.

Two weeks later when the results were back, the ENT doc referred me to another specialist 80 miles away. I never called to make that appointment. I have no patience for all the tests, referrals, doctors visits with no results... I long for the good old days before everyone was a specialist and there were real doctors who would take the time to find out what the problem was and fix it.

The problem I was having is still with me, but I have adjusted to it and will seek no further medical care for it even though I have this swell health insurance.

A Visit with the President on Air Force One (short story-fiction-I hope)

This story is a work of fiction inspired by the congressman who said he would NEVER vote for Obama-Care...until he took a ride on Air Force One....

His heart was pounding as he boarded Air Force One. He was escorted to a conference room.
As the door shut behind him, the president rose and walked toward him with his standard bright smile, hand extended.

"Dennis, Dennis, good to see you. Come sit down."

Dennis noticed the cold darkness in the man's eyes which deceived his smile. Dennis moved toward the seat indicated by the tall brown-skinned president. He waited for the president to sit and then he sat down.

"Nice day," Dennis said nervously.

"Yes. Yes, it is," Barack Obama replied as he lit a cigarette with a gold lighter. Dennis noticed that it bore the circular Obama logo.

"You'll have to buckle up for a moment while the plane takes off."

Obama and Dennis sat in silence as the huge plane taxied and took off. It seemed an eternity to Dennis. He watched Obama calmly smoking his cigarette. He really does enjoy those things, Dennis thought.

Finally they were airborne and the president crushed out the cigarette and picked up a remote control device. He spoke to Dennis, but didn't look at him. "I want you to watch a short video, Dennis."

"Sure."

Obama pointed the remote at the wide screen on the wall to Dennis's right and he turned his head to watch. What appeared was a professorial looking man standing next to a projection screen. There were numbers on that screen and the man pointed to each number, one by one, and explained what they meant. As he spoke Dennis realized that what it all meant was that the country was completely bankrupt. The man said that the United States had gone beyond any possible recovery point. There was no hope and all that could be done for the nation at this point was to keep borrowing for as long as anyone would lend. The video ended.

Dennis was silent.

Obama spoke. "We pulled that off of Youtube before it even had a chance of circulating. We aren't quite ready to have this information go public. 'Specially after all that Tea Party ruckus. The guy in the video passed away. Heart attack."

He continued, "So, Dennis, you can see that I have succeeded in ruining the capitalist system, but the people won't feel the effects for a few more months. There are a few more things to put in place before that will happen. One of those things is that we must pass this health care bill. There is a provision which will force everyone to be implanted with a microchip. RFID. We can track anyone with that. I love technology. Don't know how it all works, but this whole thing would be impossible without it."
"Speaking of technology, we are tracking dissidents on all those social networking sites. Most of the ones there who are the most radical are actually our guys. They get the dissidents to expose themselves." He laughed. "Damn fools. They are easily traced and we are building a database so that when the time is right we'll just round them all up. We will have our guys organize a big rally in D.C. and go in and round them up. We'll bus them to detention centers."

Dennis tried to jump to his feet but his seat belt was still buckled. "You'll never get away with this! When we land I am going to call a press conference and tell the people everything!"

Obama burst into maniacal laughter, but suddenly stopped laughing. He looked at Dennis and there was such evil in his eyes that Dennis visibly shuddered.

Obama said, "There is another little video you should see." He pressed the remote "play" button again.

There on the screen was a man who was standing on a hotel balcony and as he turned Dennis saw that the man was a radio talk show host, one of the most famous people in the world. Then the video cut to a man whose face was not seen. He was holding what looked like a bullet with a small crystal protruding from the end. The video man explained that when the "bullet" was fired only the crystal left the barrel of the special rifle. The crystal was actually cryo-chem. It was a frozen bit of poison which could enter anywhere on the body and induce a heart attack. The chemical was untraceable and not one person has yet even noticed the tiny puncture wound left by the cryo-chem. The victim barely feels it enter and as it slowly melts the poison is released.

The man placed a fresh bullet from an insulated canister into the rifle and aimed it at the talk show host, whose back was toward the camera again. There was the sound of a kind of hissing pop. The radio man reached for the back of his left shoulder and scratched the spot a couple of times as though he had been bitten by a mosquito, and then walked into the hotel room.

Obama stopped the video. "He'd be dead today if he didn't have so much resistance to drugs from years of drug abuse. He knows I almost had him and now he is really giving it to me on the radio. Let him! He can't stop us! No one can. It's a done deal." 

Suddenly the door opened and George Soros walked into the room. "Hi, Barry... Dennis."

"Mr. Soros, hello," Dennis undid his seat belt and rose to his feet. "Sit, Dennis. We need to chat. Look, Dennis, you will vote for the health care bill."

"But it's a bad bill and probably illegal and unconsti..." Soros cut him off, "Look, Dennis, you will do as you are told. It's that simple."

Dennis objected, "But I will not be reelected if I vote for that bill."

Soros and Barry glanced at each other. Soros said, "Do you really think there will be an election in November? It'll all be over by then. You have a choice here. We need reliable people to run the new country and we would like to be able to count on you to run your district. Your alternative is to vote the wrong way and have, shall I say, some inconvenient health problems. Your family will end up just a bunch of numbers with no special privileges. We'll find someone else to run your district."

Dennis cleared his throat. "Why do you need the health care bill, if it is all such a done deal?"

"There needs to be law to assist us. Because most Americans are law abiding it will be easy to implant the RFID in everyone according to the new law. We will round up the protesters who go to Washington for the big anti-chip rally which we will organize. Then any other reported dissidents will gradually be weeded out when they go for their mandatory physical. They will be injected with a disease which we will use as an excuse to quarantine them. And it's off to the detention center."

Dennis asked, "What will happen to the people in the detention centers?"

"They will work farms to feed the rest of the population as we decide how many people will be allowed to live in each district. The non-detainees will be assigned work. Most in factories. But eventually we will have the population down to a reasonable size. There are just too damned many damned people on this damned earth," Soros said angrily.

I can't take it!

I am about to the end of my rope with the Liberals in government fast-tracking all of their violations of personal freedoms and calling it Law.
Today's new law is to turn control of the tobacco industry over to the FDA. How absurd!
I have been smoking cigarettes for more than 30 years. Each time they raise state or federal tobacco taxes, my food budget gets cut. I am not going to quit smoking, but I can buy less healthy, cheaper food. I can skip the lamb and eat chicken thighs; plain wheat bread instead of multi-grain; fewer fresh fruits and veggies...that sort of thing.
Cigs were already expensive when, a while back, the state raised the cigarette tax fifty cents a pack, so I started buying cheaper brands which really did a number on my throat and lungs. Ended up with a nasty cough.
Then the state raised the tax by a buck a pack, so I started buying loose tobacco and rolling my own cigs with a little machine which cost about $15. I smoked more of these than the store-boughts, but it was still less money. My lungs aren't happy, but like I said, I am not going to quit smoking. After months of smoking the do-it-yourself cigs, I can hear my lungs wheezing while I am in my bed trying to sleep. I quietly curse the people who forced me to smoke this stuff which is killing my lungs. The real cigs never did this to me... and I smoked a lot less.
Then beginning in April, the feds decided to raise the tax on my little can of tobacco from about fifty cents to over TEN DOLLARS per can. It already cost ten dollars per can and they added ten dollars in tax to that. So now it costs over twenty dollars for a little can of tobacco.
And, to add insult to injury, they even raised the tax on the PAPER used to make the do-it-yourself smokes.
This is definitely illegal, but no one cares. First they used the news media to make smokers out to be evil polluters, even convincing dumb people that they have an allergy to other people's cig smoke. Right.
They squashed the report by the World Health Organization, which concluded there are NO ill effects from second-hand smoke, because it didn't agree with the made-up stats of "second-hand smoke killing 300,000 people in the US each year.
You may wonder if the tax revenue from cigarettes is really that important to our government. They say they are using the money to help children afford medical care.
First, why are smokers held to pay for children's medical care? Don't they have parents?
Second, the money is NOT earmarked for medical care and just goes into the general fund...the huge pool of all revenue collected.
But the real reason for the punitive taxes on smokers is hidden from public veiw.
It is a fact that congress passed laws years ago to exclude themselves from laws barring insider trading. That's right. THEY passed laws allowing THEM to buy stocks affected by laws they pass. Okay, keep that in mind...
There are two drug companies which produce the patches, gum, inhalers, tablets, etc. which people buy when they want help to quit smoking. The stock in those companies goes up with each new tobacco tax increase.
FACT: the chief lobbyist for these companies is the newly-appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services for the US of A. This evil money-grubber went from working the back halls to being in a position to push for higher tobacco taxes with a lot less effort. I wonder how much stock he and his family own in the companies he used to represent? Could some family member of his still be collecting lobbying money from these drug companies?
But back to the new FDA oversight of the tobacco industry...
Will I need a prescription to buy tobacco in the near future? Will I need a permit to possess cigarettes?
They say the FDA is going to regulate how the cigs are made and which addatives can be used. The government has gone stark raving mad! First they take over the banks andd ruin them. Then they take over the auto industry and ruin it. Now they want to take over the tobacco industry. They want maximum earnings on the drug stocks while they can get it, before Barack causes the whole economy of this country to collapse. (It's coming, unless the courts can stop him from continuing his illegal power-grab.)
Funny, they "decriminalized" possession of marijuana in Massachusetts, but there is an all-out assault on cigarette smokers.
This is just a tiny example of what the idiots running the show in Washington, DC are doing now that there is no opposition. There is not one GOP voice there to help tax payers.
I am done with my rant. I have a lot more to say, but I am started to get depressed.

Bringing Down America

About fifteen or so years ago, I was in a business where I had close contact with a lot of Muslims. Some were from Israel, others from Iran, and other Muslim countries.
I had many long discussions with them. They really opened up to me because I would say things I knew they wanted to hear. For example, I would tell them that Americans are decadent; that the men were allowing women to walk all over them; that the women had no decency in their manner of dress, etc. This made them feel they could tell me anything.
One particularly radical guy, who had a poster of Yasser Arafat on the inside of the trunk lid of his car and who always dressed in cammies, and I got into a discussion one day about how the Muslims were going to take over America. He said that they were going to use the Blacks to do it.
A few weeks ago it hit me like a ton of bricks! That is exactly what has happened! We, the American people, have given control of the country over to a Black Muslim man who hates America!
I had argued with him that Blacks love America as much as any other American. He had said no, the Blacks are oppressed by the whites. (It brings to mind Michelle Obama never being proud of her country even though it gave her a good education and a good paying job. She was speaking from her heart of hearts when she said that. I'm sure she and Barry had many long discussions with their radical America-hating friends about the "evils done by rich white men in this country" and about how oppressed certain people are in the USA.)
Anyway it turned out that my Muslim friend knew exactly what he was talking about when he said , "It will be Blacks with the Muslims who will bring down America."
He was wrong about a black rebellion to oppression, but it is one Black man who is trying to bring down America, and if Obama wasn't a muslim, if he really was a Christian, he would not be trying so hard to change this country.
I still think he is a puppet of the true America haters (see previous post, "conspiracy") but if he didn't also hate America, he wouldn't be doing what he is doing and saying what he is saying.

CONSPIRACY ????

It occurred to me that our new president was put in power by the behind-the-scenes powers-that-be BECAUSE he is Black.
Obama was chosen, specifically....
The intent was to be able to accuse any critics of racism. Actually, to accuse all critics of racism.
And Obama's race also brings out the worst in some people as they are small-minded enough to think that the Obama is doing the things he is doing BECAUSE he is black. This results in a lot of people hearing Obama being critisized as a black instead of as a socialist.
And then the real racists can be pointed out, to accuse ALL critics of racism, using the few nuts to persuade people that the nuts represent ALL critics.
He is not the engineer of his policies. Get clear about that. He is the front man, put in place for the reasons stated above.
The people who put Obama in power want to be able to point at critics and say "You racist!"
They need to silence opposition so their work will be swift, with little resistance.
We must stick to issues and not get personal in speaking about objections to Obama's insane policies.
Yes, Obama is trying to destroy this nation, but he is only a puppet of power hungry one-worlders who think this president being in place will help them finally achieve their goal to rule the world by knocking down what they see as standing in their way, by silencing the opposition.
God will ultimately decide their success or failure.
Pray God looks favorably on the USA and foils the plot.

Worker Bee uprising?

I am glad to see that Americans are waking up (albeit slowly) to the dangers of all this new government spending.

The little worker bees are finally understanding that the big government doesn't have any money, except what it takes from the worker bees.

But will the elected officials listen to the objections of little worker bees? Ahh, that is the real question.

It may be, that since there is total rule by one party, with the help of a few dolts from the other party, that they will not listen to the buzzing of the worker bees. Maybe the swarm is not yet large enough to frighten them... But the swarm is growing a little bit larger every day, and so the pols are moving fast to get their agenda through before the swarm gets too large. They know that once they have totally crushed capitalism with their interference in banking, industry, education, communications, and transportation, nothing will stop them. So they are rushing now before too many bees wake up and unite to stop the evil plot.

Oh, you think there is no plot? You think I am paranoid? I may very well be paranoid, but you need to read the 10 points which Karl Marx said were key to defeating the capitalist. It was written back in 1848 and they have already gotten a large part of it done. They started with the schools so they could indoctrinate children into their way of thinking. (Control the children, control the future)

The ten points made in the Marxist document is a list of things they need to accomplish to destroy capitalism and free enterprise.

Vladimir Putin (Russia's leader and former head of the Soviet Secret police - the KGB), in a speech at the World Economic Conference in Sweden on January 28, 2009 warned the USA about where they are headed. Now here is a guy who knows communism inside and out. And he warned against "the concentration of surplus assets in the hands of the state." He said doing this made the Soviet economy "totally uncompetitive" and that it "cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated."
He also said "There is no reason to believe that we can achieve better results by shifting responsibility onto the state." ...... "The unjustified swelling of the budgetary deficit and the accumulation of public debts are just as destructive as adventurous stock-jobbing."
In other words, what the US government is now doing is going to mess things up more and that we are headed for the old Soviet system of the wealth being in the hands of the state. Our new government has an agenda and they think that even though Russia failed, the NEW USA --led by HOPE and CHANGE --will make communism succeed.

I am going to copy the ten points here. That way lazy people will not even have to click on a link. But the rest of the document entitled "The Communist Manifesto" is worth reading (found at marxist.org Look in section II of "The Communist Manifesto" for the ten items) if you want to see where we are headed, where this 'new hope' is taking us.

These are the things that the communists must do to take the government and the country from the people.

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. (more and more land is being taken and bought with tax-payer money to be turned to 'public' use instead of private use, not just in the US, but all over the world)

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (there was NO federal income tax when this was written, because it was forbidden in the Constitution. They had to amend the constitution to charge a federal income tax and people were told it was just temporary... and look at what we have now)

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (there was no inheritance tax when this was written)

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. ('rebels' are those who fight this new hope . Laws are already on the books for the government to seize property of gangsters and drug dealers...RICO laws. It is already set up. And if you leave the country your property will become the state's)

5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (isn't that what the Obama administration is doing now by forcing banks to take federal money. Yes forcing, that is what is happening. Some banks refused the bailout money and were ordered to take it. You don't mess with the feds when you cannot operate without their consent.)

6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. (New television broadcast laws mandating easy-to-control-by-big-brother digital signals as opposed to hard-to-interrupt analog. Analog is cheap and easy to use... anyone can do it. Digital requires all kinds of fancy expensive equipment and can be interrupted by the push of one federal button. The feds have no business mandating something which should be controlled by the market. Remember dial phones? They faded away naturally through market demand, with NO government interference. And they want to pass new laws to make radio shows "fair," to make it cost too much to broadcast conservative viewpoints. They can't make all the radio stations switch to digital so the next best thing is to make sure only 'new-hope' friendly stations can stay on the air, like government-funded NPR.********** Then we have control of transportation. Right now the state of Massachusetts is trying to pass a law requiring a Radio Frequency ID chip be placed in every car so they can tax the mileage of all cars. RFID in every car? yup that is what they want. And that will only be the beginning.)

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (They have already taxed most small farmers out of business...it is part of their plan)

8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. (Didn't work out real well for the Soviets, but they are going to try it anyway, once they have crushed all the free enterprise in the country)

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. (In the Soviet Union the people were told where they could live, and where they could work)

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, &c, &c. (Of course there were no free public schools in this country when the Manifesto was written. People got their education from the church, if it was merited. All of the best universities and colleges were started by churches. People were not forced to send their kids to school. Most kids stayed home to help grow food and learn daddy's trade or learn a trade from another worker. Girls mostly learned how to take care of a family and a home... and not all unhappily, either.) And notice they wanted to end children working in factories "as it now stands." They didn't intend to end children working in factories, just the way it was being done then.
Conclusion:
This plan can't work for any one's good except for those in charge. That is the way it worked in the Soviet Union: only the government officials had enough of the basics (and then some).
Ordinary people did not own cars or even bicycles. You were ordered to work near to where you were ordered to live. So travel wasn't necessary, definitely not something to be done recreationally.
People had to wait in lines for hours to get a roll of toilet paper.
Does this sound like something you would want to experience year after year?
And how about the official teaching of atheism in the Soviet Union? The Marxists were thrilled when Darwin came up with a way to explain life without God being in the picture. Notice how you can't mention the Bible anywhere, but Islamist are cow-towed to? (sorry for the bad grammar)

My sister lived in Soviet East Germany from 1948 till the 1970's [it's a long story]. She told me that she and her husband were on a waitng list for 2 years for a 2 bedroom apartment after they had their second child. They were allowed only to have a one bedroom apartment with one child. They both worked every day and saved money for 4 years to get on a waiting list for a clothes washing machine. I'll bet the Communist Party leaders didn't have to wait for a washing maching.
That is just a glimpse into what the NEW HOPE AND CHANGE government has in store for you.

The Only Plan that Will Work

I have a simple plan to pull the country out of the mess we are getting further and further into every day.
Let all the people who are for the "stimulus" plan just keep on doing what they are doing.
Let all others quietly sell all their possessions and move to another country. You should keep your citizenship and most of your cash (converted to gold), get a job or start a business in your new host country, and live quietly, biding your time.
After a few years, when the USA is totally bankrupted by the people who stayed ("Stayers") and all the illegal aliens have fled the poverty in the U.S., and property is really cheap, and the country is devoid of hope, you can return. Some of you Returnees will be able to run for office and win easily if you present a conservative agenda (which will finally make sense to the Stayers, having seen the results of liberals having free-reign.)
Once Returnees have gotten into office they will need to reduced taxes (which will probably be around 95% by then).
The Returnees should be able to revoke most of the new regulations restricting the rights given in the Constitution, and restore freedom to the USA.
The Returnees will have to institute term limits and abolish pensions for all government workers, all civil employees. These people will have to open IRAs or 401k type accounts. People who serve in government positions will do so, not to gain power and money, but to contribute to society.
There will be no federal income tax. The money needed to run the federal government will be gathered from tarrifs on imported goods. This will promote U.S. based business located within the U.S.
Private citizens can voluntarily contribute finances to the federal government, but it will be put in a special fund to be divided equally between the 4 military branches and NASA, with the money being applied in addition to the budgeted money collected from tarrifs.
States rights will supercede any federal rules, except the laws pertaining to the national defense and immigration.
State income taxes will be abolished and replaced with a sales tax, not to exceed 15% when combined with any local or county sales taxes.
There will be no property taxes or excise taxes by states.
Licensing fees will not increase beyond the percentage of inflation and will decrease when there is deflation, accordingly.
The Senate and the House of Representatives of the federal government shall be in session for one month every three months, for a total of four months of the year. They shall set a budget to fit funds collected the previous year. They shall not borrow any funds.
Terms for senators will not exceed one 6 year term; and terms for representatives will not exceed two 2-year terms.
Compensation to the Congressmen shall be 1/3 of what they were making in their private sector jobs before election, but not exceeding $30,000 per year. There will be no increase unless voted by the general population during a federal election, and any increase shall not exceed 5% in any six year period, regardless of inflation. The general population may also vote to reduce the pay of congress, and it will become law. There will be no extra pay for committee chairs or any other positions.
All U.S. citizens over the age of 21 will be required to have a firearm in the home and on their person when outside the home. And every citizen age 5 and up, will be required to complete the standard NRA gun safety course. This will reduce the need for large police forces and will provide a militia to contribute to the common defense.
Criminals will serve full terms in jail, with no parole. Prisoners will be required to attend 4 hours of daily classes in basic education and 4 hours of training in a technical field such as auto mechanics, plumbing, accounting, or carpentry. The training will be mandatory. Prisoners will not be released until they have spent at least half of their sentenced days in classes and training. For instance, if a prisoner is sentenced to 2 years, he must attend 365 days of classes and training before release. If he does not attend any classes or training during the 2 years, the sentence would be extended to 365 more days. If he attended 360 days in two years, his sentence would be extended 5 days. He must complete the class-time. There will be no requirement for proficiency unless the prisoner wants to be certified in a given field or in General Educational Development (GED).
Once the prisoner's term is served, all rights will be restored.
This will only work if the Stayers have allowed people to retain any rights at all. If the USA has gone totally socialist, then the people who left should not bother to return.
I am sure that in that case there will be some sort of underground which will be working toward overthrowing the socialists. Perhaps the ones who leave can bombard the US with Radio Free America broadcasts to encourage freedom.
I doubt if the USA will be anything but socialist within 4 years. The government is already on it's way to taking over the country's largest banks and that is one of the steps toward socialism. The state must control the money, education, and business to remove the power from the people. And they need to get their guns or at least know where all the guns are by licensing them.
Oh, heck, forget the whole thing... all except the part about leaving. That may be a good idea. I would head to Australia, maybe...

Octuplets- the more the merrier

I listen to people talk about the woman who had the eight babies, bringing the total of her offspring to 14.
Every single person was critical of her.
They complained that she isn't married... that her house is too small... that she lives with her parents... that she already has 6 kids under seven years old... that she must be mentally unstable... that she should have reduced the quantity before going ahead with the pregnancy...
Everyone complained...
I, as usual, do not agree with the majority opinion.
First of all, I don't think it is my business to decide how many children are too many for someone else's family.
That aside, I wonder: When did the American mindset shift to the position that big families are a negative?
It appears the liberal brainwashing which has been going on for decades has paid off. It is no longer a thing to be admired when one has many children. The Chinese and Margaret Sanger would be proud.
In China, to try to get a handle on the population, families are allowed to have only one child. It is illegal to have more than one. Culturally it is more desirable to have a male baby, so if the parents find out they are about to have a girl, they abort her. Then they try again, for a boy.
Sometimes the girl babies are killed at birth.
If a family already has a child and the woman becomes pregnant again, she is required by law to have an abortion, and it is enforced if she doesn't do it voluntarily.
I mentioned Margaret Sanger. She was the founder of Planned Parenthood and a promoter of Eugenics...

Margaret Sanger started Planned Parenthood to weed out the "undesirables" in the population. Undesirables being poor people, minorities, handicapped people, less intelligent people... people that were determined by the eugenics group to be less qualified to live than they themselves. In other words, the eugenics group would take the place of God, in whom most of them did not believe.
Planned Parenthood... nice innocuous name, eh?
The eugenics group, which was a formal organization, evolved directly into Planned Parenthood (PP).
One of the main goals of this group was to rid this great nation of the "blight" of Blacks. The Black race was no longer useful because they could not be slaves and they were far too often mating with whites and spoiling the white race. So they started opening PP clinics in black neighborhoods in urban areas. And they started paying Black preachers to lecture their flocks on the woes of birthing children into poverty.
Did you know that a great majority of abortions are performed on blacks, even though their population is in the minority? Google it.

In every state where Blacks make up at least 10% of the population, the abortion rate for them is 2 to 3 times greater than the population percentage.
Examples:
Alabama-blacks are 26% of population and 54% of the abortions in that state are performed on blacks.
North Carolina- 21% pop.--44% abortions
Georgia- 30% pop. -- 57% abortions
Tennessee- 17% pop. -- 41% abortions
And the most astonishing figure:
Mississippi- 37% population-- 77% abortions!!
Margaret Sanger's work is really paying off in Mississippi.

How does all of this relate to the woman who had the octuplets?
Simple: If she was rich and married, no one would criticize her for wanting to keep all of her babies alive. There has been a cultural shift in this country, due in large part to the brainwashing by PP types, that poor people should not have babies. That simply makes no sense, unless you are rich. But poor people and "middle class" people are saying the same thing: "Poor people should not have babies."
Somehow the eugenics people, probably through use of the media and the schools, have convinced almost the entire nation that you must have a lot of money to have a lot of children.
The fairly new institution of welfare has justified this mandate in the minds of most. "They are having babies that we are going to be paying for." That may be the sole purpose for instituting welfare in the first place: to give the masses the idea that it will cost them if poor people multiply, thereby justifying the demand that poor people kill their babies.
The octuplets have revealed, to the extreme, the feelings which have been fostered by eugenics group.

This is a very interesting site. It states that the most dangerous place for a black baby is in the mother's womb.

But it is not just Black babies who are targets of Planned Parenthood.
PP would like to wipe out all "undesirables," even though the Nazi program to do that resulted in "inferior" quality humans, as stated in the article from the medical website.
You end up with hybrids, and hybrids are fine until you try to get offspring from them. The offspring, if they are even able to reproduce, have many more physical and mental problems than the population at large.
I would like to ask the eugenics people who they plan on having for laborers if they rid the country of poor people? Are you going to then put some of the middle class into forced labor so there will be someone to wait on you at the restaurant or someone to pick up your garbage? Maybe those jobs can be done as community service on a temporary basis. Can you just see forcing some spoiled yuppie to fill potholes in the road... although these days, that is probably a very high-paying job.... or will they come pump your septic tank? ...or will they stock the shelves at the supermarket?
I digress, but don't I always? : )

Anyway, my discomfort with the objections about the octuplet mom arises from my conviction that God should decide who is going to have or not have a baby and that this society has shifted toward believing that they can set the criteria for future mothers. Sure it would be nice if the woman was married and if she was rich. But those are merely circumstances and circumstances can change. What cannot be undone is the selective killing of embryos.
The mother of the octuplets was asked to reduce their numbers and she refused to have any of the tiny embryos killed. I would not have been able to do it either. From a religious perspective, if they were not to be born, they wouldn't have been.
But they were born and poor Margaret Sanger is probably turning over in her grave!

Answered prayer

There is proof (for all the doubters) that God answers prayer.
All the mushy-minded people who drank the (Al)Goretown Koolaid (like Jonestown) and prayed like mad (literally) that God would "cool the earth" are now having their prayers answered.

"The planet has a fever," is what Al Gore said to freak out half the world. Then the meaningless Nobel Committee gave him the big Peace Prize for that severely flawed movie, and another batch of followers climbed on board the Goretown Train as mindless zombies headed toward Panicville.
As the Goretown Koolaid Express careened down the track, the media sound-machine blared non-scientific reports about how we are all going to be cooked alive on a fiery hot, fevered planet. If we exhale even one more breath of carbon dioxide we are all DOOMED! Okay, everybody, stop breathing!

The frightened masses began to pray for God to cool the planet.
I can just picture God saying, "Calm down. The planet is fine."

The masses: "Oh, please, God, cool the planet! Cool the planet! Cool the planet! Cool the planet!"
God: "Okie-dokie."

Now what are the reports from weather-watchers? Yup. We are having a record cold. The past year (2008) has had below normal temperatures. All over the "fevered planet" people are freezing to death.

To me this means that either the scientists and Al Gore are wrong/lying about global warming, or it means that God heard all those prayers and cooled the planet.

How could so many scientists be wrong? Were they intentionally giving out false information because the only research being funded is research supporting the theory of global warming? Noooo, of course not. A scientist would never be concerned about money to pay off that new Escalade or that new home on St. John! How dare I even suggest such a thing? A scientist is never worried about funding!
And neither are the universities concerned with funding. The universities would never pressure their scientists to prove a false theory just to get more funding. Why would I even think such a thing?

Why did they ignore the reports of the ice caps increasing in mass? Why would they insist that the earth needed to be cooler?  Well, maybe it was because they wanted to make sure that the increased polar bear population would all have enough ice to roam around on.

Wait. INCREASED polar bear population???
Yes, it is true that the polar bear population is growing, but we shouldn't let facts get in the way of a popular theory! After all, the Nobel Committee gave Al Gore a prize for making a movie which was seen by millions of people all over the world. School teachers all over the USA hand out cups of Goretown Koolaid to millions of school children and require them to watch the movie. And millions of school children cried their little eyes out when the polar bear floated across the big screen on a chunk of ice. The poor polar bear was doomed! We are all doomed. Waaahhh! boo hoo! <-- and="" span="" tear-filled="" terrified="">
We have an emotional investment now and we must have that investment pay off.

Isn't there too much carbon dioxide in the air?
Well, actually,no. If there was, we would not be able to breathe. We and all the animals on earth would pass out and die.
And then the rich scientists would not be able to drive their SUV's and neither would Al Gore be able to fly his private jet to his numerous mansions, because they (and we) would all be dead, thus ending the pollution which is causing global warming. And then the planet would be back to normal in a matter of weeks.

Just in case you don't know how it works:
Animals, humans, and all other non-plant-life breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Plants, including those in the oceans, breathe in carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. The plants (trees, grass, lettuce, moss, and such) need the carbon dioxide (which brilliant scientists say we need to stop producing). And we need the plants to have the carbon dioxide so they can make oxygen for us to breathe.
It is a beautiful system but the scientists think they can make it better. Don't swallow the Koolaid, honey.
You see, before the planet ever turned into a fireball, we would all be dead. (We can only be alive while we produce carbon dioxide for the plants to turn into oxygen for us to breathe.) And being dead, we could no longer pollute, so the planet would be back to normal in no time. Of course we wouldn't be here to see it.


But wait! What was that about record cold and people freezing to death??
Oh, I see the problem...Hmmmm.... Well, we can fix that with a NEW term:
Global Climate Change.
See how easy it was to fix that problem?
Yes, they have all begun saying "global climate change" to explain away the fact that the temperatures are NOT unusually warm and never have been. The key word being "unusually."

Do the scientists know that the earth goes through temperature fluctuations on a regular basis?
Oh, yes. But there is no money in that.
It is part of the natural balance of the earth, but who would pay to hear about that? Would the Nobel Committee award a prize to find out that everything is normal? Of course not.

Please don't try to stop producing carbon dioxide. Go ahead and breathe. That's right, it is good for you to breathe. Keep it up... I have a lot of trees on my property and I can't keep them alive by myself. I need for you to produce enough carbon dioxide to balance out all the oxygen my trees produce. Good work! That's right: exhaaaale, iiinhaaaale, exhaaale, iiinhaaale.
Thank you so much. Now do you think you could turn up your thermostat or take a drive in that gas-guzzler just for added measure? Invite Al Gore to speak at your school and that should do the trick. His private jet uses a lot of carbon credits! He is doing his part to keep trees alive, thank God. What a hero! Give him another prize!!

But really, if you are on the Goretown Koolaid Express, maybe you should hop off the next time it stops to pick up more robotic followers.

And please, do me a favor? Stop praying for the planet to cool.

Have you ever read any or all of the Communist Manifesto? I have copied a portion of it below. Please read it carefully.
If you know anything of the misery suffered by people in communist countries, you will not want to live that way. But this is where we are all going to end up if we follow the path we are on.

Doom and Gloom... or NOT

Are we sick and tired of doom and gloom yet? I am. Look, remember what Truman (or who ever it was) said: We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
True that, as they say in the 'hood.
If we think we are all doomed to poverty and we listen to the gloomy predictions and we repeat them, it will come to pass.
Forget about it!
I am absolutely psyched about 2009! I think, no, I KNOW it is going to be a fabulous year. The best year ever! It is true.
Don't listen to those saying the government has to fix it. The government is what broke it!! They will only make it worse with all the bailouts and give-aways. Don't forget that the government has NO MONEY except what they take from taxpayers. Taxpayers is you and me. I want to keep what little I earn. Why should I send it to Washington, DC so Nancy Pelosi can send it to some multi-billion dollar bank??? That is just plumb stupid. And car companies? Let them get money by selling cars, not by robbing taxpayers.
And highway projects that are supposed to save the economy... the money is going to come from increased taxes, you dufus. And most of it will go to some well-connected contractor's pocket, not to a worker-bee trying to feed his family.
Let the people get courage and resume their daily lives with confidence and the economy will follow a natural course of correction, and it will improve. Let the government try to fix it and we will all be in the hole, as will our children and their children.
But in the long run, it won't matter to me what they do because I have decided that 2009 is going to be the greatest year of my life. And it will be.

A Bible Study in the book of Revelation

I want to look into the 17th and 18th chapters of the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
First I must say that if you are trying to interpret Scripture from a Greek/gentile point of view, you are going to end up with stuff that doesn't make much sense. There will be a lot of contradictions and a lot of pieces that just don't fit.
I do not claim to have all the answers, but what follows is how I see the events foretold in the book. Actually, I am not even going to get into the events as much as get into the symbols and what they mean.
When you get into Bible symbols, the symbols ALWAYS mean the same thing throughout the whole Bible so you need to start by looking at the whole Bible and not just take Revelation by itself.
Beginning in vs 1... the great harlot= harlot always represents false religion... sitting on many waters= she controls many people-groups or people...
vs 4... the harlot/woman is very wealthy and regal (oil $$?)
vs. 5... couldn't be clearer (even though frequently mis-identified) the name on her forehead is BABYLON. Babylon is the area of Iraq and Iran (not New York City or the USA or the UN or the Catholic Church, etc.)
vs 6 tells us she is drunk with the blood of the saints and the martyrs of Jesus. (I don't recall the USA killing followers of Christ, yet... )
The Islamists have been ordered to kill people who will not convert to the religion of Mohammed and this is happening today in various parts of the world. People are being slaughtered in 3rd world countries by Muslims seeking to expand their oil and land and people territories.
vs 8 the beast which the woman rides "was and is not, and yet is." History tells us that the power of Islam was great until beaten down in the Crusades culminating in 1099 with the taking of Jerusalem from the Muslims. Islam was not given much consideration for centuries after that and now: OOPS there it is!
vs 9 has a lot of people thinking this is all about Rome because it speaks of 7 mountains. But mountains are people in the Book. Don't forget the woman is controling the beast and the mountains are it's heads. This does not speak of the physical hills of Rome. It speaks of a group of rulers being controled by a false religious system.
vs 10 says there are 7 kings. 5 have fallen (died), one is, the other has not yet come.
vs 11 gets a little tricky: "the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven..."
These last 2 verses are the biggest clue if you know about the Shia-Islamic Imams. The Shia branch of Islam has been waiting for the Seventh Imam to come back to life (which would then make him the 8th also) since 816 AD (CE to the new-worlders).
To explain IMAMS: These people are the direct descendants of Mohammed--son, grandson, great-grandson, etc. The last one, Imam Reza, died by assassination in 816. His tomb is a Muslim "holy site" to the Shia sect of Islam. The Suni sect was blamed for the killing. Now the Shias are waiting for the Imam to come back. They say he will come forth from a cave, and he will usher in some sort of new world for the Muslims. The president of Iran has said that he will use a nuke to cause the world disaster which is needed to bring the imam back.
The end of the chapter tells us that the 10 horns on the heads turn against the harlot and 'make her desolate.'.
Moving to Chapter 18...
It tells how "all nations have drunk the wine of the wrath of her fornication"(islam is speading all over the world by force and bloodshed) and the merchants of the earth have gotten rich through the abundance of her delicacies (vs 3).
She is burned with fire (vs 8) and is destroyed in an hour (vs 17).
Kings (vs 9) and merchants mourn for her (vs 11)
Merchants were made rich by her and kings "lived deliciously with her."
The end of Babylon comes with fire, in one hour, with great violence (vs 21) and shall "be found no more."
So, all taken together,Islam in Iraq and Iran, will be the root of evil problems and God will allow it's destruction... total destruction.
The president of Iran thinks he will usher in the "prophecies" found in the Koran. He actually is going to cause the fulfillment of the real word of God, the Bible.

Economic Stimulus, yeah. sure.

I could hardly believe the stupidity of this little government spending spree!
I had heard about the program and had a few questions so I went to the IRS website to find the answers. What I found shocked me. The distribution makes about as much sense as anything the government has done of late.
In a nutshell here is how it works:
You get a check or electronic fund transfer from the government which is supposed to pump money into the economy.
The amount is determined by your income in 2007.
The amount of the check can be as high as $600 for a single adult.
Now who do you suppose will get the maximum? Maybe someone who really needs it because they only took in $20,000 last year? Wrong.
The less you made, the lower your payment will be. The maximum payment of $600 goes to those making $75,000.
And that is the point at which the benefit BEGINS to decrease again. So the more you made, the more you get, until you reach the $75,000 cut-off, which isn't a cut-off at all. People earning $80,000 will still get about$345, and so on.
But guess what? If you happened to be poor enough to only earn $3,000
last year, you do not qualify for any payment at all!!!
That means if you really need the money, you get little or nothing. If you are well-off, they want to send you MORE money.
So if you could really use the money, say to buy food, you get less money than the guy who already has so much.
How do they think that someone who made $75,000 last year is waiting for this $600 to spend it? ...like he has run out of money? He is not going to spend it. He is going to add it to wherever the rest of his 'money pile' is!
I am waiting anxiously for my $26... yeah. sure.
INSANE!! That's what it is. And SHAMEFUL! There is no way this is going to stimulate the economy. But it does show how senseless today's politicians are.... and heartless.

It's about time!!

Finally the media is reporting on the corn/food/ethanol crisis! If you look at my March and April entries, you will see that I have been alarmed by the silence of the media and the inaction of government.
The are two very simple things that need to be done to correct the situation quickly.
1. Halt ethanol production immediately.
2. Allow drilling for oil ANYWHERE in the USA.
And a third thing would really expedite things: Allow more oil refineries to open in the USA.
Environmentalists are stopping the drilling and the refineries. Profit-hungry politicians are keeping ethanol in production.
The citizens are being distracted from the truth by the media dwelling on Barack Obama's minister and some revolutionary who they are trying to make people think is Obama's best buddy. He hardly knows the guy! As far as the minister goes, I'd be more upset if Obama disowned the guy because of pressure. That would show a weakness of character and infidelity to friends. (Maybe I'll write about that later.)
This is a purposeful effort to keep you from thinking about the real problems in this country. Don't fall for it. Educate yourself about the food crisis which is heading our way. I would be growing a garden, if I were you. Actually, I am growing a garden.

More on ethanol crisis

Hold me back!! I am so angry!! I just read that "the only reason growing corn for ethanol is profitable is because of government subsidies"!!! That means the dollars you pay in taxes are creating a phony industry of ethanol production. No one would be involved in it if tax payers weren't funding it. Do people want to use fast-evaporating ethanol in their cars? Not many. Do people want to pay U.S. farmers to grow corn, not to feed Americans, but to feed Archer Daniels Midland's moneybag? (ADM is the power behind all this nonsense.) And then you pay how much in taxes per gallon of gas/ethanol? Lord help me! It's time for another Boston Tea Party. Maybe a corn party. Maybe everyone should buy popping corn, take it home, pop up a garbage bag full and carry it to your local statehouse and dump the popcorn in front of the building. If they had to wade through piles of popcorn to get to their limos, maybe they would at least notice that people are upset. Maybe not....

Tomatoes for sale- just $9 a pound

Why is it that we have elected a pile of evil people to run this country and make laws? They are, for the most part, self-serving and they are passing laws which will send their stocks up. People who actually want to serve the public good are soon destroyed by the powers-that-be. If they speak the truth, they will be drowned-out by louder and louder lies.
The Bible says that we get the leaders we deserve. That's a scary thought!
We are on the brink of a very hard time. There is a clue of what is coming in the prices we are now paying for gas, food, and utilities. This is the budding on the trees, so to speak. I see a great down-turn coming. It could be slowed by radical action on the part of law-makers, but they lack courage and vision, and as I said, they are self-serving.
What needs to be done is an immediate shut-down of all ethanol-manufacturing plants. All of the corn grown to make that useless fuel needs to be diverted to food supply. Feed for animals AND food for people. Most of the farm fields which were in the past used to supply our food and animal feed is now being used to grow corn for ethanol production. The natural result is that the price of corn for food and feed is sky-rocketing. It is no longer profitable for ranchers to raise cattle for us to eat. It is no longer profitable for farmers to grow corn or wheat for us to eat. It is far more profitable to use the land for ethanol-corn.
The people who passed the laws requiring ethanol to be used for fuel are making huge money from it. They will never admit it, but believe me, they are getting enormous sums of money from this fraud. Everyone was made to think this would help cure us of our need for oil, so objections were few. You may actually believe that ethanol being added to your gasoline has kept the price down. It has not. Of course you think it would have been a lot higher. You are wrong. It is just a way for select people to rake in some of the profits which would have gone to the Arab oil companies. It wasn't mandated to help YOU. It was for the lawmakers benefit.
And it is not limited to the US. Other countries are growing ethanol corn. In poor countries where the people's main food source is corn, it now too expensive to buy or simply unavailable. A lot of people who could have been eating corn are going hungry. Do you think your lawmakers care?
It does not only affect corn. Wheat, barley, vegetables and other crops are not being grown so those fields can be used for ethanol corn. The demand for ethanol corn is high and the ethanol makers are not concerned with the looks of the corn, as you would be if you were buying it to put on the dinner table.
All meats will be affected: chicken, pork, beef, lamb. All of these animals are fed corn, which is getting too expensive to make it cost-effective to raise the animals. A lot of cattle ranchers are sending their cattle to market early just to break even. This has resulted in a temporary glut in the cattle market. Buy it now, because there will be no replacement herd until the price of corn comes down. The price will not come down as long as there is a demand for ethanol. The demand for ethanol will not go down until they repeal the laws requiring it to be added to gasoline. The laws will not be repealed as long as crooked politicians are making money from ethanol production. Crooked politicians will make money from the laws they pass until people rebel. And they and I know this isn't going to happen. (This is one good reason to stand behind the 2nd amendment to the Constitution of the USA. The intent of this amendment was to prevent the tyranny we are seeing today. Of course lawmakers know this or they wouldn't be trying so hard to take our guns away.)
We can't keep electing career politicians. Our founders had in mind that the elected officials in Washington should be citizens who serve their term and then go back to the business they were in before they got elected. Today our elected officials are, for the most part, people who have never had a job. They never ran a business. They went to law school and then right into a public sector job, which they only took to use as a springboard to run for office. It is the same in local government. Some of them skip the law school part, going right into a public sector job. Once they are in, they never want to let go of being paid tax dollars. It's a form of welfare. Most of the jobs would not even exist, but for laws their kind have engineered. And it is growing steadily. More government laws begets more government jobs. Oh and they all have to get pensions with health benefits. They are entitled, after all those years of 20 hour work weeks. This is what they live for.
There is no need to give a pension to a citizen pol who serves a term and goes home. But just take a look some day at the retirement benefits they have legislated for themselves.
I have digressed. Let's get back to the ethanol corn thing:
The actions of these modern politicians is pure evil: For our law-makers to put us in this position so they can grow richer! This is evil indeed. And it is not just they who are getting richer. Their families and friends who helped con people into voting for them are also profiting. And it is never enough money, no matter how much they have.
What will you do when a loaf of bread costs $15---if you can even find a loaf of bread. The wheat field is now being used to grow corn. Not corn for your July 4th barbecue. Nope. Corn for the fuel makers.
Wait till you see the price of an ear of corn this Summer (2008)!! You thought it was high last summer?...You had better think again. Do you think the fuel makers care if there is a little worm in the ear of corn? The grower has an easier time selling to the fuel makers.
Fresh vegetables are going to be a delicacy. Those squash and tomato fields are being used to grow corn now. Not corn for you or the chickens which laid those eggs you eat in the morning. Nope. Corn for the fuel makers.
What is happening to the dairy farmers? Prices are going up on the feed. How much are you willing to pay for the milk you put on your cereal? What about the butter for your toast?
What can be done? You can complain to your lawmakers. You can stock up on some foods now, but unless you have a silo, it won't last long enough to ride this thing out. By the end of the summer of 2008 you will see what I am talking about.
If they haven't reversed the requirements for ethanol by then... well, I pity the good old USA.
